Choosing & Sizing
How do I choose between the ShieldAll Ultimate™ and Elite Premium™ 5th Wheel RV covers?
How do I choose between the ShieldAll Ultimate™ and Elite Premium™ 5th Wheel RV covers?
- ShieldAll Ultimate™ is built for extreme outdoor conditions (heavy UV, downpours, freezing rain, ice, and snow). It features maximum weather resistance and an ultra-soft fleece roof lining to protect your fifth wheel's gelcoat and finish from micro-scratches.
- Elite Premium™ is a lighter, highly breathable cover engineered for damp or humid climates. It maximizes airflow to reduce interior condensation, mold, and rust, making it ideal for mild outdoor storage or indoor cover.
How do I accurately measure my Fifth Wheel RV for a cover?
How do I accurately measure my Fifth Wheel RV for a cover?
Measure your 5th wheel from the absolute rear (including ladders, bumpers, or spare tires) to the frontmost point of the overhang/cap.
- Do NOT rely on the manufacturer's stated length or model number (e.g., a "32-foot" model designation often measures 34+ feet bumper-to-cap).
- Do NOT include the king pin hitch assembly in your length measurement.
- Do NOT measure over the rooftop AC units or satellite dishes—our covers are fully cut with built-in allowance for rooftop accessories.
- If your measurement falls on the boundary between sizes, size up for a comfortable fit.

Do these covers accommodate the overhang cab section and king pin box?
Yes. Our Fifth Wheel covers are custom-contoured specifically for the stepped profile of fifth-wheel trailers, featuring extra material and reinforced corners around the front overhang cab. The bottom hem sits securely above the hitch box area.
Can I access my 5th wheel while the cover is installed?
Can I access my 5th wheel while the cover is installed?
Yes! Built-in zippered side access panels allow you to open passenger doors and slide-out entryways to check on your RV, load gear, or perform maintenance without taking off the cover.
How do these covers stay secure during high winds?
How do these covers stay secure during high winds?
To prevent wind lofting, billowing, and fabric tear:
- Integrated undercarriage tie-down straps with quick-release click-close buckles cinch tightly under the trailer.
- Front and rear tension panels with cinch straps take up extra slack for a snug fit.
- Covered air vents allow wind to pass through smoothly without building up pressure inside.
Are these 5th wheel covers 100% waterproof and breathable?
Are these 5th wheel covers 100% waterproof and breathable?
Our covers use multi-layer water-resistant top panels to shed rain, melting snow, and ice. At the same time, integrated air vents allow trapped interior moisture and heat to escape, preventing mold, mildew, and rust underneath.
Tips & Protection
How do I prevent sharp edges on my 5th wheel from damaging the cover?
How do I prevent sharp edges on my 5th wheel from damaging the cover?
Before pulling the cover over your RV, pad sharp contact points such as rain gutters, bumper corners, ladder mounts, and solar panel edges using gutter covers, foam padding, or towel wrap. Padding these friction areas greatly extends the life of your cover.
